November 2016: launch of the new Au Vieux Duluth restaurants’ website. This multilingual and multiplatform website, now supported by a CMS, offers visitors a more dynamic and user-friendly website style while prioritizing ergonomics. With this in mind, shape and opacity effects have been added to enhance the visual appearance of the site, while maintaining a strong focus on whitespace that allows dissociation of segments or layout subjects. The new use of larger, close-up photos gives a more powerful impact to restaurant products. In addition to these visual changes, a geolocation-based restaurant search module has been added to allow busy visitors to make an appropriate choice. During this renewal period, the 5-week “Vote for your favourite dish” contest was launched, sponsored by 5 television ads, some e-mail campaigns and a website dedicated to the contest.
